As the clock strikes 7.01pm on Thursday 17th March join Mr Fogg’s Tavern for a taste of Irish stew and some traditional music. With Mr Fogg’s Irish cousin, Seamus, in charge, there will be an Irish band playing throughout the evening and a cocktail menu with more than a splash of Guinness in Covent Garden’s part tavern, part drinking salon. Choose from bespoke drinks that include Reeling from the Dew Drops, made with Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, lemon, mint syrup, egg whites and topped up with a sprig of mint; and Craic Worthy of Kings, made with Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Kings Ginger, Guinness Golden Ale, lemon juice, sugar syrup and soda. Sláinte!

For a St Patrick’s Day with a difference, celebrate on board the Cutty Sark with traditional Irish folk songs and impressive views of the River Thames on Saturday 19th March. Explore the ship or cut some shapes underneath its impressive hull to the soundtrack of the Cut A Shine Ceilidh band. A collective of musicians and dancers who have been spreading their music across the UK for 11 years, Cut A Shine will be bringing fiddles, banjos, guitars, mandolins, double bass and energetic dance callers to this event. Tickets are priced at £25 (or £20 for students) and include a free shot of Cutty Sark whisky.

Paint the town green
Get the look of the Irish in the Emerald Isle’s favourite hue without feeling like a Leprechaun this Thursday. Going green can be notoriously difficult, so look to khaki hues and utilitarian detailing and jumpsuits to wear this colour head to toe. Accessories are your best friends when it comes to green dos and don’ts. Dip your toe in with emerald, mint and turquoise shades stamped across sandals, ballet pumps, scarves and shoulder bags. Our Charli, Tess and Jade shoes will be leading the way this Thursday 17th March.
