The start of 2016 has seen a recognition and a rise in modest fashion. The launch of the 1st International Modest Fashion Week in Istanbul happened in May, and it seems designers by the likes of Dolce and Gabbana and Uniqlo have jumped on the bandwagon finally recognizing that Muslim women want to be on trend, have the hard earned cash to spend but no where to spend, H & M even featured the first Hijabi model in their ad campaign.
