Introducing.... Butterfly Twists's Spring Summer 14 Trend Guide
Since the sun is shining again, we think it's officially time to renew our wardrobes and shoe racks – not that we need an excuse!
We love following new trends, and while yes, heels can sometimes complete an outfit, girlies, don’t forget your poor little feet and cute little toes in all this: they’re going to need some serious loving in the next few months.
But thank your lucky stars, Butterfly Twists knows all this and has of course put together a beautiful collection of folding footwear for when your toes need saving or when you just want them to look really good. All the while staying bang on trend.
Here’s our top trends this season, and how your BTs can make you stay comfortable all the while looking fabulous and very SS14.
Let’s start with metallics.
Metallics - Yes, it is indeed time to shine! Silver, gold, bronze, iridescent… we love them all. Our Millies, Samanthas, Sophias and Eves will ensure that you always have a pair of ballerina flats or indeed brogues on your feet or in your bag to complete your metallic look.
Pastels – Aaaaah we love pastels. When pastels are in, you know it’s time for spring. Lara, Nicola and Claire are dead on if you wish to complete a pastel look.
Art School – We were a tad surprised to discover this kooky trend but as soon as designers get involved, it all makes sense… you start wondering how you ever lived without it. Lara, Nicola and Claire are once again here to the rescue as well as the Emilys.
Floral – Floral is beautiful. Fact. But floral tends to be very colourful which means you sometimes wonder what you’re going to put on your feet which will work with your outfit. The Heathers will solve any of your floral fashion dilemmas. They come in plain colours and are so dainty you’ll want to frame them.
Animal prints – Animal prints just never seem to go out of fashion. Leopard print clothing used to be Scary Spice’s staple look and yet, almost 20 years later, we’re all still wearing it! Whether it’s snake, leopard or zebra, we’ve got what you need.
